For the record, I would like to make it abundantly clear that neither I, nor anyone at Covenant Abstract, Inc., have closed any of the alleged fraudulent deals of Mr. Beato. Our office has been willingly and gladly cooperating with Trooper Rossi regarding all matters concerning Mr. Beato.
We were served a search warrant for documents related to properties which Mr. Beato had submitted for title work. None of the properties submitted were closed by Covenant Abstract, Inc. and we provided all documentation requested by the investigating bodies. Further, I had been in communication with the Greater Hazleton Realtors Association prior to the allegations against Mr.Beato because of concerns we had at our office.
For the past 22 years, I have worked, with the staff at Covenant Abstract Inc., to provide quality services to the Greater Hazleton area. We are known in our industry as a trusted resource for title services and were stunned to see our company alone mentioned the Standard Speaker article without the opportunity to provide a comment. We have since contacted the paper to request clarification and are awaiting a statement to that affect.
